Bio: Attorney Jill L. Uehara was born and raised in Wailuku, Hawaii. She is a graduate of St. Anthony Jr./Sr. High School. In 2010, Jill earned a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University in Politics with a Certificate in African Studies. At Princeton, Jill was an active member of the Cap and Gown Club as well as a member of the Lightweight Crew team. During the summer of 2008, Jill interned for Senator Daniel Inouye in Washington D.C. After graduation from Princeton, Jill moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to pursue a Master’s degree in Health Management Systems from Duquesne University. After earning her Master’s degree in 2012, Jill worked for Pediatric Alliance LLC as well as Blue Cross Blue Shield as a Business Analyst. In 2014, Jill returned to Hawaii to pursue her dream of becoming a criminal law attorney in her home state. Jill enrolled at William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2015. While in law school, Jill was on the executive board of the Asian Pacific Law and Policy Journal as Publications Editor.
