Bio:Before joining Sanford Heisler, Ms. Mueting was a litigation associate at Covington & Burling, LLP, where she represented clients in a wide range of litigation matters involving employment, intellectual property and insurance. In addition to her litigation practice, in which she was extensively involved in discovery, motion practice, oral arguments and trial preparation, Ms. Mueting also advised small businesses and non-profits on employment policies and employee manuals. Additionally, Ms. Mueting participated in Covington’s Pro Bono Rotation program, in which she worked full-time at DC’s Children’s Law Center. In this capacity, Ms. Mueting served as lead counsel in several trials representing clients seeking to care of neglected children and children at risk of being neglected.Ms. Mueting clerked for The Honorable Michael J. Melloy on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and The Honorable Richard J. Leon on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. She also served as a Team Leader for AmeriCorps*National Civilian Community Corps. She has published on disability law, D.C. Public Schools and D.C. Employment Privacy Law.
