Bio:	Leon I. Behar, Esq. is the founding member of the Firm and a senior litigator. Leon was born in Santa Clara, Cuba and migrated to the United States in 1962. After graduating Yeshiva University, cum laude, double majoring in history and sociology, Mr. Behar attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School where he graduated in 1981. After graduation, Mr. Behar focused on practicing Real Estate Law, representing landlords and tenants for over 20 years in all aspects of trial practice in the Civil and Supreme Courts, Federal Courts, and appellate litigation. Mr. Behar also represents New York landlords and tenants in a administrative law matters, including legal issues administered by New York State and City agencies (e.g. Division of Housing and Community Renewal, Division of Human Rights, Department of Housing Preservation and Development). Mr. Behar began his career at the firm of Bachner, Tally, Misher & Polovey and later joined the firm of Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. After a few years at Rosenberg & Estis, Mr. Behar joined Jacobs and Zinns.
