I hired Mary Ellen before Covid in a divorce. She promised me joint legal custody of our daughter, with the child living 50-50 with one parent and another. After 3 three years of her constantly lying to the court about a false injury or one that doesn't act up, her lying to me and stringing me along and just taking my money and doing absolutely nothing, her constantly telling me that everything was going to be fine and then dropping my case because she had to go to trial, I learned how bad of a liar this woman is. This woman does not go to trial in divorce. Her specialty is settling. She will lie to any client and tell them to settle to make her life easy for a quick buck. She doesn't deliver, especially when it comes to her promises. If you do go to trial with her, she'll try to pass the book to an attorney friend of hers named Dave. They are both horrible attorneys. Stay away from this one. You wanna lose your children? Talk to her. And she will smile as she allows the courts to destroy all your rights. The best thing that could happen, is you can defend yourself. At least then you get an honest shot at it. And you will save $5000 retainers. Do not hire this woman! You don't know what it's like to lose your child. Because of a bad attorney lying to you the whole time. Or be dumb and take her on. That's what I did. And I learned my lesson.
