This attorney failed to even get a phone call with the opposing party’s insurance adjuster the first two years. He blew the statute by six months causing my case to almost be destroyed by not getting the defendant served. He failed to document the due diligence in even trying to get her served, which also destroyed our ability to defeat a motion to dismiss. He failed to obtain even basic details like the limits of the opposing party’s policy, and he didn’t document his request or negotiation with them. I removed him from my case - the only reason he didn’t succeed in destroying my case is because I withdrew it. I refiled and won with another attorney - but he’s trying to sue me to steal some of the proceeds. I’m filing a bar complaint. It’s bad enough to practice negligence, malpractice etc - but it’s criminal how this person has treated me - it’s like he’s a thief who tries to steal from you.
