Bio:	Steve began his professional career as an Executive Assistant to two members of the Orange County Board of Supervisors. He later served as Orange County Division Counsel for Safeco Title Insurance Company doing underwriting, claims litigation oversight and quality control. When Chicago Title Insurance Company acquired Safeco, he helped form the first in-house litigation department and served as litigator for the Southern California Region. Steve was later hired by Great American Bank, FSB ($19 billion in assets) to serve as counsel on FSLIC's management consignment team for First California Savings ($450 million in assets) and Perpetual Savings and Loan ($50 million in assets) which had been placed in receivership. After they were successfully sold and/or liquidated, he then served as senior counsel for GAB's development subsidiary, GADCO. Steve became a shareholder in the San Diego law firm of Duckor Spradling & Metzer, and represented National Title Companies including Chicago Title, First American Title, Stewart Title, Commonwealth and Lawyers Title Insurance Company, as well as the City of San Diego and the San Diego Port Authority. In the early 2000's, Steve accepted the invitation of Fidelity National Financial, Inc., to join their SW regional legal team where he served as National Advisory Claims Counsel, General Counsel of an FNF subsidiary, ServiceLink, Inc. headquartered in Pittsburg, and as Assistant General Counsel and Law Firm Liaison nationwide for FNF
