Bio:	Mr. Schefstad received both his undergraduate and law degree from Florida State University. He is admitted to practice law in Florida and Georgia. Mr. Schefstad entered the title insurance industry as an underwriter and claims handler in 1981 working in the Florida state office of Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation located in Winter Haven, FL. In 1984, he was transferred to the National Headquarters of Lawyers Title in Richmond, VA where he was a multi-state underwriter with his primary focus being on states located in the southeast. In 1986, he returned to Florida to help start American Pioneer Title Insurance Company. While at American Pioneer, he co-wrote the company's underwriting manual and helped establish claims handling procedures. In 1993, he relocated to Atlanta, GA to start the first Regional Office of American Pioneer outside of its home state of Florida.
