Bio: Mr. Conticello received his B.A. with Honors from the University of Florida in 1994, and graduated with his J.D. from the University of Florida, School of Law, in 1997. He has been practicing law in Florida for 22 years. Mr. Conticello’s began his legal career in the commercial litigation section of a full service law firm, where he quickly began litigating and trying complex cases. Mr. Conticello worked mainly for Plaintiffs taking on large and small litigation matters, including a class action law suit against the PGA of America, coverage lawsuits against insurance carriers, unfair and deceptive trade practice law suits against car dealerships, and security fraud matters against large financial firms. At the same time he was serving as the Assistant Town Attorney for a local governmental entity. In this capacity, Mr. Conticello dealt with Sunshine Law compliance, ordinance drafting, and providing advice to the Town’s Council members. In 2001, Mr. Conticello accepted a position at the Agency for Healthcare Administration as an Assistant General Counsel. There he served as lead trial counsel prosecuting complex Medicaid/Medicare overpayments against individual Medicaid providers, hospitals and other facilities that routinely exceeded millions of dollars.
