Bio:I began my legal career almost 20 years ago as a civil litigator, working for some of the most prestigious local and national law firms in the country. My practice was challenging, and involved high-stakes commercial and business disputes, fiduciary litigation, and securities fraud. I successfully litigated cases in state and federal courts from California to New York and many places in between. I was good at it, but something was always missing. As time passed, I got married and divorced. I had triumphs and tragedies and learned a lot – much of it the hard way. Along the way, I found my true calling and have devoted my professional life to families. I am now able to harness my background in high-stakes civil litigation to achieve successful outcomes in equally complex divorce cases. I understand what is on the line when protecting my client’s assets and businesses. My experience in fraud and other failures of financial trust aids me in fighting to ensure my clients receive their fair share of the marital estate. The highest cost of divorce and custody disputes is not quantified in dollars and cents. I have seen first-hand the wounds of a family torn apart. I know the multigenerational damage caused by parental alienation, unregulated mental health and substance-abuse disorders, and the failure to co-parent. I work tirelessly to help my clients ensure their children do not pay the price. I am honored to serve as a court-appointed attorney for children and parents in
