Bio:Brian W. Bennett is Florida Bar Board Certified in Construction Law and concentrates his practice in civil litigation with a special emphasis on commercial and construction disputes as well as complex torts. He has represented various participants in the construction process, including owners, general contractors, design professionals and major subcontractors. His work with the American Bar Association’s Construction Litigation Committee includes serving as past chair of the expert subcommittee and speaking at ABA meetings on construction law topics. In addition to representing clients in the general construction, theme park and manufacturing industries, Mr. Bennett serves as construction counsel to the largest casual dining chain in the United States. Prior to earning his law degree, Mr. Bennett worked in the fields of civil engineering and general construction for over 6 years. His civil engineering experience includes the design of sanitary sewer, water distribution, and storm drainage systems for various residential and commercial developments. His general construction experience includes project management of commercial projects including a $10 million dormitory for the College of Charleston and a $7 million alumni center for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
