Bio:David S. Lafferty concentrates in the areas of commercial litigation and real estate transactions and development. Prior to establishing his own practice, he was associated with a Hackensack insurance defense and coverage firm where he gained extensive courtroom experience, including jury trials. Mr. Lafferty was admitted to practice before the State and Federal Courts in New Jersey in 1991. He graduated from Villanova University in 1988 with a B.S. in Finance and earned his J.D. from Pace Law School in 1991, where he was a member of the Pace Environmental Law Review. Following law school, Mr. Lafferty was a law clerk to the Hon. James T. Murphy, J.S.C. of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County. David S. Lafferty previously served as Municipal Court Judge for the Boruoghs of Paramus (2005-13), Fair Lawn (2006-2012) and Ridgefield (2013-2016).
