Judicial Experience Retired Circuit Judge Dennis O’Dell has presided over thousands of cases during his career, including civil, domestic relations, and criminal cases. He served first in a District Court position beginning in March of 2005. He sat on the District bench until moving to the Circuit Court in February 2010. Judge O’Dell was serving as Presiding District Judge for Madison County when he moved to Circuit Court. He held his Circuit Court position through two elections and served until his retirement in November 2018. Credentials Since 2019, Judge O’Dell has been engaged in private mediation practice.
