Bio:Evelyn obtained her Bachelor's degree from Montclair State University located in Upper Montclair, New Jersey. She majored in Political Science and minored in pre-law and paralegal studies. Evelyn was recognized on the dean's list and was a member of the Pre-law association. In 2000, Evelyn attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School located in Lansing, Michigan. She was a merit scholarship recipient and a staff editor of the Cooley Law School Journal. Additionally, during her final year of law school, she served as a law clerk at the Michigan Attorney General's Office, Consumer Protection Division, where she assisted deputy attorneys' with preparing cases for trial. Upon graduation in September 2003, Evelyn practiced with two New Jersey based law firms representing clients in bankruptcy, real estate transactions, general and commercial litigation matters.
