Bio:Case Experience and History Prior to joining Helmer, Conley and Kasselman I served in the Bergen County Prosecutors Office for over three decades. At various times I was Chief of the Special Investigations Sections (white collar crime), Chief of Sex Crimes and Child abuse, Chief of the Bergen County Narcotics Task Force, Chief of Trial and First Assistant Prosecutor. As Chief of Trial I supervised the prosecution of all cases tried in the county for over four years and taught many assistant prosecutors in trial techniques. I always taught them that being able to think like a defense attorney was essential for a prosecutor, and the reverse is just as true – as a defense attorney who thoroughly understands how a prosecutor prepares and puts in his case I can spots the weaknesses and use them to my client’s advantage.
