I had a really discouraging set of experiences with Gary Johnson of Weston Hurd. Lawyers need to meet at least a minimum standard of care about the interests of their client. My experiences with Gary left me feeling really disappointed, and frankly disillusioned, about the occupation of attorneys. I feel treated so badly by Gary Johnson that it makes me feel distrusting of lawyers generally. And I don’t want to feel this way about a whole occupation. I just wish law firms would not allow bad lawyers to continue representing their firms. Once a lawyer becomes a partner, it probably is pretty awkward to try to fire him, but law firms need to do the right thing. For whatever reasons, Weston Hurd is willing to continue to expose clients to Mr. Johnson. It’s not fair in my opinion and I’m disappointed in Weston Hurd, especially since I’ve now heard that there are numerous angry ex-clients of Gary Johnson.
