Bio: Geoffrey grew up in Overland Park, Kansas, but has lived all over the country. Geoffrey moved to Israel for four years in his late twenties, obtaining dual citizenship, but decided to return to the United States in 2010 with the goals of obtaining his bachelor’s degree and attending law school.Geoffrey graduated from the University of Kansas in December 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, Language, and Writing with a minor in Business Administration. He received his Juris Doctorate in May of 2016 from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University in New York City, obtaining a certificate in Data Law from the Cardozo Data Law Initiative. While in law school, Geoffrey served on a professional publication, the Journal of Law and Cyber Warfare as both staff and symposia editor and interned with a financial technology software firm in the city’s financial district.Geoffrey combines a passion for social and economic justice with a desire to empower people to control their finances.After graduating law school, Geoffrey worked for the same firm where he had interned, serving in the General Counsel’s office. He then decided to transition into litigation and began working remotely for a Kansas City-based employment law firm, representing individuals and classes with discrimination and wage-per-hour claims.
