Bio:I grew up in Knoxville , TN. I attended the University of Tennessee graduating in 1970 with a BA degree in Russian Language. After graduation, I joined the US Air Force. I spent a tour in SE Asia. I was later assigned to Beal AFB. I left active military service, joined the reserves and attended law school. I passed the Bar on my first attempt in 1984. I retired from the US Air Force Reserves as a Major in 1990. I am a past Worshipful Master of a local Masonic Lodge (Morning Star #19) Though I have handled cases in other fields of law, I have limited my practice for the past five years to criminal (particularly violent and serious felony cases involving allegations of murder, sexual assault, "three strikes") and personal injury cases (including suit ofchild molesters). In January of this year, I completed a trial where Iconvinced a jury thatmy client was not guilty of two counts of kidnapping for the purpose of robbery. (People v. Keovongxay, San Joaquin County Court # SF115451A) I just had the trial court dismiss charge of kidnapping for purposes of robbery in People v. Brice , San Joaquin County Case # SF11115347B.
