commentWe hired this lawyer to represent a member of our family. He did not do an adequate job in representing this person, was not even on the side of the person he represented, but instead he agreed with everything that the district attorney asked for, not even asking for a reduction of the sentence at the sentencing hearing. We thought that the lawyer's job was to try to help the person from staying out of jail and allow other options. He also did not defend this person's past record from being brought up in court. Besides, the time was already served for these past cases and irrelevant to the present case. This lawyer even talked to the person, after court was over and said to this person, "After I saw your record, I knew that I could not help you." Now this is so unprofessional!!! When this was relayed to us, we were so upset. That statement should have never left his mouth!
