Bio:Jody Hart is Senior Counsel with Kuchler Polk Schell Weiner & Richeson, LLC. Mr. Hart graduated from Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service in 1989 and earned his juris doctorate degree from Tulane School of Law in 1992. Mr. Hart began his career representing plaintiffs before shifting his focus to representing defendants in 2000. Much of his experience has been in complex litigation involving allegations of toxic exposures and environmental contamination. He has managed a large Texas docket of cases in which agricultural contamination was alleged, served as National Toxic Tort Counsel for a Fortune 500 manufacturing company, and managed multi-state dockets of asbestos cases for a Fortune 500 chemical company. He has extensive experience in cases involving dioxins, benzene, asbestos, oilfield waste, and Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials (NORM). In 2006, Mr. Hart took leave from the practice of law in order to assist in the raising of his young twins and to pursue his interest in woodworking and furniture-making.
