Bio: Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Joyce Peters entered private practice with the law firm of Calfee, Halter & Griswold in Cleveland, Ohio, where she engaged in a general practice, including both business and individual legal matters. She then accepted an appointment into The Judge Advocate General’s Corps of the Army, where she served for more than 22 years in a variety of important positions, including Staff Judge Advocate for both Fort Lee, Virginia, and Fort Lewis, Washington; chief litigation counsel for military personnel matters in the Office of The Judge Advocate General; chief legislative counsel in the Office of the Secretary of the Army; and Senior Military Assistant & Executive Officer to the Secretary of the Army.
