Bio:Practice Philosophy: For over twenty years, I have been proud to call Charlotte home. Growing up in South Charlotte, then moving to Uptown and the surrounding neighborhoods has allowed me the chance to fully experience Charlotte and all it has to offer. After high school, I ventured up the road to Raleigh, North Carolina where I graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science. Following undergrad, I moved back to Charlotte where I received my Juris Doctor from Charlotte School of Law. While attending CSL, I studied abroad in Austria at The University of Innsbruck Institute on World Legal Problems, where my studies regarding human trafficking sparked my interest in family law and helping people resolve family issues. Most people go to law school with high hopes of "giving back to the community" and "helping people." Fortunately for me, I have the opportunity to do just that on a daily basis. Practicing family law allows me to impact peoples' lives on a personal level. Not everyone can say they have a job they love and they find rewarding on all levels. Listening to a client's life story allows me to connect with them individually and sincerely care for the situation they are facing. Rather than doing the same, mundane task every day, I get to hear a wide variety of people's stories and difficulties. I have always been a people person and practicing family law allows me to use that strength while doing something I truly enjoy. A wise man o
