My clients’ personal stories often play a significant role in designing the best approach for their planning needs and priorities. I listen carefully, paying close attention to the smallest details, and find that my own background gives me some perspective on many of my clients’ concerns. In my personal life, my family is very important to me. I am a spouse, a parent, a grandparent (a young one ?? ), and have an aging mother suffering from Alzheimer’s. My father passed away after a long battle with cancer, at which time I became acutely aware of how important it was to have a plan in place to ensure an individual’s wishes are carried out after death. Soon after my father’s death, my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I learned quickly how important it was to have a plan for incapacity or disability prior to such diagnoses. I can relate very well to similar experiences and concerns of many of my clients, who often come to me to plan for themselves and their families.In my working life, I am happy having my own law firm, as it is a natural continuation of my life-long love for running my own business.
