Bio:E. Mitchell Griffith is a founding partner in the firm of Griffith, Sadler and Sharp, P.A. He practices in the areas of automobile liability, construction litigation, premises liability, products liability, and direct action suits against insurance companies. Mr. Griffith graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C., in 1980. While there he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. After college, Mr. Griffith attended the University of South Carolina, obtained his Juris Doctor Degree in 1983, and passed the Bar that same year. Following law school, Mr. Griffith served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Luke N. Brown, Jr., Resident Judge of the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit of South Carolina. In 1984, Mr. Griffith entered private practice in Beaufort, South Carolina. In 1992, Mr. Griffith and Ms. Sadler formed the firm of Griffith and Sadler, P.A., predecessor to the firm of Griffith, Sadler and Sharp, P.A. Mr. Griffith is active in the local Bar and in the South Carolina Bar. He has served as an officer of the Beaufort County Bar Association and was President from 1997-1999.
