Bio:	My practice focuses on DUI/OUI defense, and helping Alaskans who have been charged with drunk driving and related charges. I have helped Alaskans arrested for DUI since 1983, a period of more than 30 years. I love my work, and the opportunity to help people in time of need. Born in Alaska, I attended college in the Midwest, and Law School in New York. I returned to Alaska immediately after law degree in 1982, and have been practicing law, including DUI defense, since 1983. I have been the only Alaska Delegate to the National College for DUI Defense since aproximately 1997. I have taught lawyers in DUI defense on both a State and National level, including as a guest lecturer to DUI lawyers from all over the country at the annual "Mastering Scientific Evidence" lawyer training seminar in New Orleans, on the topic of Breath Alcohol Testing. I have focused my time and efforts over the years in mastering DUI law, the science of breath and blood alcohol testing, and the field sobriety tests conducted by police. I have completed the certified training required to conduct Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, as well as certified traiining as an Instructor of those tests, under training approved by the National Highway Traffic Safey Administration and the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
