Ms. Carter’s father works for Penske Truck Leasing and his job relocated the family to Frisco, Texas in 1992. Ms. Carter graduated from Frisco High School in 1996. She then went onto college and obtained a Bachelors of Arts degree and graduated with honors from the University of California, Irvine in 2000. While in college, Ms. Carter competed on the National Speech and Debate Team.Ms. Carter immediately went on to Law School in San Diego, CA and graduated from California Western School of Law in 2003. While in Law School, Ms. Carter competed on the National Trial Team.
