She graduated from Mineral Wells High School as salutatorian in 1976 and received a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Tarleton State University in May of 1988 with a 4.0 GPA. She attended Baylor University School of Law and obtained her juris doctorate in 1991. She has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 1992. After finishing law school, Cindy first worked at Heart of Texas Legal Services in Waco and then joined Bailey & Galyen for the first time in September 1994. She subsequently worked for the Tarrant County Domestic Relations Office as a child support prosecutor from 2005 until her retirement in June of 2019. Cindy returned to Bailey & Galyen as the managing attorney of the Weatherford office on July 1, 2019. Cindy has extensive family law experience and handles divorce, adoption, child custody matters, child support enforcement, and CPS cases. She has tried thousands of cases and also handled wills, personal injury cases, and criminal cases.
