She obtained her J.D. from Cumberland School of Law in 2003.  During her time at Cumberland, she clerked for Judge R.A. "Sonny" Ferguson, 10th Judicial Circuit Court, Jefferson County, Domestic Relations Division.  Following her graduation from Cumberland School of Law, Ms. Banks returned to Huntsville, Alabama.  Ms. Banks is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Alabama State Bar Family Law Section, and the Huntsville Madison County Bar Association where she has served as an officer and commitee chairperson.
