Nick was horrible for starters. I hired him to help me retrieve my business equipment and personal items from a warehouse where I was leasing a 2,000sq. ft. commercial space. I first contacted Nick on a free consultation and its where I decided to go with him. He informed me that " when landlords get a call from an attorney representing a client they usually smarten up" which in this case is not what happened. Upon Nick reaching out to the parties involved he called me back and sounded more like a district attorney and not someone working at my best interest. He never invited me to his office to discus the matter in person. Instead of him putting a stop to the land lord entering the unit he did nothing to do so and the land lord went ahead and started stealing my equipment, merchandise, and personal possessions. Nick allowed them to enter the unit without my presence. When Nick would speak with me he would normally speak to me as if he was mad at me. And I informed him of how much he sucked and how I went back to the reviews and found that he represents land lords and no tenants and his reply was "that is because usually tenants don't have the money to hire a lawyer but in my case I did have the money to hire a lawyer." Nick set up a date with the land lord to let me retrieve my items. They were suppose to have the doors open at 10am and I got there at 10:30 am and the doors were still locked. So I called Nick because he was not present when he informed me he would be to ask him what is going on and he started yelling at me that everyone was there at 10am including a detailed police officer and the only person that was not there was me. He said that he would call me back in 5 minutes, and when he called me back he said to me that the police department could not have a detailed officer available. So therefore he lied me initially. No one came by to open the door and no police officer was available. This guy had me confused and VERY upset because I knew he just took my money. He was very unprofessional and I let him know it. I let him know how wrong he went about representing me. If I hadn't hired Nick and would have went to the court house myself and paid the $200 myself for the filing fee I would have much better results because that's exactly what I ended up doing myself after many attempts to gain entry. And to be honest if you read his reviews on Thumbtack they are almost all identical to one another. My opinion based on experience with reviews they were either bought or he had friends and family post false reviews. In my opinion based on my experience with Nick it seams like he likes to take clients money and not properly representing them. Then they told Nick that they will not be opening the door for me to continue retrieving my positions and that if I wanted to continue i would have have to give him an additional $1,500 for him to do this all over again and its where I decided to go about it myself. Where I even got the $200 filing fee waved by the judge and a full day to retrieve my items which I successfully did by me having do it all myself. Before hiring Nick it was one of the things I was afraid of, a lawyer who would sell me out and take my money by misrepresenting me. It was a very complicated experience of frustration.
