Norman is a prolific speaker at continuing legal education events, both local and national. He has authored or co-authored articles in state and national legal periodicals on tax and estate planning related topics such as the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, the Missouri Uniform Powers of Appointment Act, the new IRS partnership audit and collection rules, and the US Supreme Court decision on internet sales taxes in South Dakota v. Wayfair. He is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Washington University School of Law, where he teaches corporate taxation, and a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel.
