my father who was recupurating from a stroke that he recovered from that the doctors said was almost impossible was put in a reputable hospital that was known for its specialized stroke care.While there the staff was told to never leave this patient unattended on the bedside commode. One day that order was ignored and he tipped over on the commode and sustained a large lump and cut. Family asked for a ct scan and was told it was performed and they found nothing unusual. Days later he suffered haedaches, nausea and confusion also extreme lethargy. insurance ran out for the patient and was sent to a nursing home. Condition of the patient diminished greatly and eventually was taken to a nearby hospital which discovered a subdural hematoma that had to relieve the pressure from the brain by drilling holes in his head.The blood was extraordinary when released which caused the patient to be intubated and put into a drug induced coma. Patient subsequently suffered kidney failure and sepsis and expired. Pamela got the ct scan and very obvious was the subdermal hematoma. Many lawyers did not want to accept this case because of the patients age. Shame shame shame thank you Pamela we owe our dads dignity to you.
