- Non-Responsive and Full Ghost Protocol -- Breach of Duty Led to us Getting Sued - - - 11/3/2022 - flag as inappropriate - comment
I dislike writing negative reviews, but I feel a duty to save anyone else from falling victim to the negligence of Patrick Ascolese. His communication during two closings was spotty at best and required frequent follow-up. However, he was absolutely unresponsive afterwards with regard to escrow, after dozens of emails and many calls. Furthermore, his lack of communication led to us being sued. After our closing, the buyer of the property sent two letters to Patrick via email and certified mail regarding escrow, which Patrick never notified us about. As such, the buyer completed repairs on their own with zero involvement by us, which led to a lawsuit to cover additional damages. Had Patrick simply forwarded that letter to us -- as his license obligates him to do -- we would have saved tens of thousands of dollars and countless hours of headache. We are currently filing an attorney ethics grievance against Patrick to save others from the same fate. I have also read on other review sites that other people have experienced this same behavior by Patrick over the years, which is why I am taking the time to write this review.
