Bio:Paul Bardacke has practiced law in the public and private sectors for over 40 years. His current practice focuses on mediation and arbitration, and Paul has mediated over 1000 cases in the past 18 years and has tried over 25 jury trials as first chair, primarily in the areas of commercial, natural resources and environmental law. Paul served as Attorney General for the State of New Mexico from 1983 to 1986 and as Chief Negotiator for the State of New Mexico in Indian gaming negotiations with 16 New Mexico tribes and pueblos. He also represented the State of New Mexico in the tobacco litigation. He has also served as a Special U.S. Attorney for the District of New Mexico and as Special Counsel to the State of New Mexico for Windfall Profits Tax Litigation. He has served as an instructor in Evidence and Trial Practice with the University of New Mexico's School of Law, and currently serves on the National Parks Service Advisory Board and was a founding member of the bipartisan think tank Think New Mexico. Paul also served as Chairman of Governor Bill Richardson's successful gubernatorial campaigns in 2002 and 2006. In 2005, he served as a member of a small US delegation to North Korea to negotiate civil rights issues.
