Bio:You will meet directly with Mr. Jackson and he will personally handle your case. You will not be passed off to some inexperienced associate. However, Mr. Jackson does not work alone. We have several other lawyers that we call in to assist us when additional help is needed and occasionally collaborate on a case with other labor lawyers from start to finish. We have a full time office manager, a full time paralegal and multiple part-time assistants. Attorney Jackson did his undergraduate work at Indiana University and obtained his law degree at the University of San Diego and was admitted to the bar in 1974. Before becoming an attorney he worked for the U.S. Social Security Administration. While working for the government, he was president of Local 2879 of the American Federation of Government Employees covering San Diego and Imperial counties and also AFGE's Chief Union Steward for the western United States. He has always practiced in San Diego. He handles ONLY employment law matters, and, due to his union background, has been "practicing" labor law for more than the 39 years he has been an attorney. Mr. Jackson primary non-work activity is scouting — he has held many positions with the Boy Scouts of America, including Scoutmaster. He is the proud father of three Eagle Scouts, one daughter and three grandchildren.
