Bio:Scott Peatross has practiced in the area of probate law since 1997. He is a member of the Probate Section of the Memphis Bar Association and served as President of that section in 2011 - 2012. Scott Peatross has served as Shelby County's Public Administrator in the Probate Court since 2005. During that time, he has handled more than 200 probate cases in his capacity as Public Administrator. By the nature of the position, the estates to which the Public Administrator is appointed are sometimes the most difficult and challenging estates on the court's docket. In addition to probate cases handled as Public Administrator, Scott Peatross handles numerous probate cases as counsel for personal representatives, creditors, trustees and beneficiaries.
