I was rear-ended by a semi and this Lawyer had my case for 2 years. During that time he seldom responded to my phone calls &emails. He made many, many errors & omissions..Missed Court deadlines, failed to do important dispositions , failed to file proper motions in time.. The Judge scolded Lawyer many times before and at trial. He also hid all the truckers extensive driving records from Jury ( DUIs, 4 recent driving under suspensions, speeding, and many safety equipment violations.) He also failed to expose at trial Trucker's license was under suspension on date of wreck! He was gentle on Defendants at trial when they were making false statements , and failed to use evidence we had that would of exposed the false testimony. He also failed to request Perjury charges, when we had CLEAR evidence of Perjury and Falsification against Defendants. Lawyer allowed the Defense to post my medical records online for all the public to see (against Hippa law) , allowed the defense to attack me & make false statements in their pleadings, with no response. This Lawyer was more friendly and communicated more with the Defense , then he did his with own Client. My life was a nightmare the whole time he had my case. In the end.. Final Judgement was a tiny, tiny amount, a tiny fraction of my true Medical bills and lost income... and nothing for pain/suffering. Lawyer refused to appeal. In fact, Defendants Insurance had offered to settle with me for $45,000 before I had hired this Lawyer.( I had about $45K alone in medical bills I had paid) After Lawyers poor performance and his numerous errors&omissions I only received a total of $9,000 after Verdict. That's $36,000 LESS than if I would of settled it Myself, WITHOUT a Lawyer, and would of been done 2 years earlier with much less anguish. Also this Lawyer before Trial had told me my case was worth $200-500K! Constantly makes in in accurate statements. I would not recommend this law firm to anyone.
