Bio: Mr. Rich was born in Oakland, California and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2013. He is a 2013 graduate of Martin Luther King, Jr. School of Law at the University of California, Davis, where he became a member of the Order of the Coif, and served as an inaugural member of the California Supreme Court Clinic. With the Clinic, he helped draft briefs in In re Marriage of Green (2013) 56 Cal.4th 1130 and People v. Martinez (2013) 57 Cal.4th 555. Before law school, Mr. Rich worked as a newspaper reporter for The World newspaper in Coos Bay, Oregon and The Piedmont Post in Piedmont, California. Mr. Rich joined Carter Momsen PC in August 2013. Cases he has litigated on appeal include: Salazar v. Matejcek (2016) 245 Cal.App.4th 634; and Millview County Water District v. State Water Resources Control Board (2014) 229 Cal.App.4th 879. Mr. Rich and his wife are foster parents with Redwood Community Services, Inc. They live in Ukiah with their son. Mr. Rich volunteers for the Partnership Scholars Program, which provides mentors to students without any college graduates in their extended family.
