Bio:Her entire career, she has concentrated in employment law and exclusively represented employees. Ms. Choate has counseled hundreds of employees, from current employees facing employment problems to wrongfully terminated employees on various claims. Ms. Choate was named an "Illinois Rising Star" for 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2014 by Super Lawyers magazine. She has been invited to speak as a guest lecturer on employment issues for the Chicago Bar Association's Law at the Library Series every year since 2005. She is an active member of the CBA and of NELA/Illinois, an organization comprised of lawyers who seek to vindicate the rights of individuals in the workplace. She currently serves as President of NELA-Illinois and has been on the Board of Directors since 2006.Ms. Choate serves as Editor of "The Illinois Employee Advocate" a publication by NELA/IL and has authored several articles for the quarterly publication.
