Mrs. Mauritson's family has farmed in the Lemon Cove and Lindsay areas since the late 1800's.Mrs. Mauritson received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in the Legal Environment of Business, summa cum Laude, from Fresno State. She graduated from McGeorge School of Law, with distinction. At McGeorge, Mrs. Mauritson studied water law, land use, environmental law, as well as international water law. She was awarded a Witkin Award for highest grade in water law.
