Bio:Barb was admitted to practice in Colorado in 1989, and has been a solo practitioner focused on estate and life planning, elder law and mediation, probate and estate administration since opening her own law office in 2008. Prior to becoming a solo, she spent the majority of her twenty-two year legal career in federal court, and also stayed at home for a few years to raise her kids. Barb values her client relationships and strives to honor and incorporate the human and compassionate face of law practice in counseling and representing her clients, and this is also true for her approach to mediation. Formerly a "boomer sandwich" (three teenage sons and octogenarian parents until 2011), this gives Barb the life experience that informs the counseling she does with her clients.
