commentI went to see this person in Sept for a child custody case. I couldnt make any headway with legal aid, so I chose to do a one hour consultation instead because I dont have a lot of money. The case was not complicated, although she made it out to be, because it was basically a case where my parents were seeking custody of my son and I don't drink, take drugs, abuse or neglect my child in any way. Seems pretty simple. For the entire hour she scared me into thinking that my parents had a case, and they would take my child, but the case would be thrown out if I could just come up with a 700.00 legal fee. I spent the next 3 hrs trying to come up with the money (which I couldnt), and it turns out the judge did not take away my son afterall. If you hire her, just skip the consultation, its a waste of money. She'll probably just use that time to convince you that if you don't hire her, you will lose.
