In the beginning of our custody modification, we did so much research on the job title of a GAL. When we filed the modification,we requested that the court appoint a guardian ad litem in hopes of exposing years of abuse to my step children. The court appointed Courtney Eagan(Smith,Chambers). She has been nothing but an absolute cancer to our case ever since. She lost important documents including police reports and medical records. She refused to report to the court that, the childrens mother allowed her now, ex husband to rape one of the children on several occasions. Courtney interfered with the filing of a protective order petition and specifically instructed me not to file it. We asked her to voluntarily recuse herself from the case to avoid further damages and she refused. She would not respond to emails, bashed me as a mother in court and refused to give me the opportunity to defend myself on multiple occasions. She also lied under oath. We will never do business with her again!
