Bio:Mr. Marnen graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Minor in Film Studies. In September 2006, he received his Juris Doctor degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Mr. Marnen is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Prior to receiving his law degree, Mr. Marnen was a photojournalist for RNEWS, a local cable news network, in Rochester, New York. During his tenure as a photojournalist, Mr. Marnen covered such events as President Clinton's visit to Buffalo, New York in 1998; Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton's initial senate campaign; Buffalo Bills football; the LPGA Wegman's Rochester International Golf Tournament; NASCAR racing at Watkins Glen, New York; and, most notably, the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York City. While attending law school, Mr. Marnen was placed on the Honor Roll and Dean's List and received a Tuition Scholarship for academic performance. He was also a member of the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity.
