He has focused his career on DUI Defense and Criminal Defense.After graduating from Georgia State University Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Political Science, Mr. Winters matriculated to Georgia State University's College of Law. In his second year at the College of Law, Mr. Winters began an Internship with DeKalb County Public Defender where he successfully argued several Constitutional motions before even finishing law school. While attending Georgia State Law, Mr. Winters also received distinctions in Advanced Evidence and Litigation. Mr. Winters graduated from Georgia States College of Law with the highest distinction in public service.Directly after law school, Mr. Winters went to work for Houston County's Public Defenders Office where he defended over 300 misdemeanor cases from traffic citations to Domestic Violence charges to DUI's.
