He practices in all phases of civil litigation focusing on Federal and State Civil Litigation focusing on the defense of products liability, admiralty/maritime, aviation and transportation, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (“LHWCA”), bad faith/extra-contractual liability, toxic tort and commercial litigation. Mr. Salas leads the firm’s admiralty practice group and co-chairs the firm’s product liability practice group. Mr. Salas attended the University of Miami where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1986. While attending the University of Miami, Henry Salas was extremely active in the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and the Order of Omega Honorary Society. Mr. Salas then earned his Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University School of Law, graduating within the top 20% of his class. While attending Law School, Mr. Salas received a series of honors and distinctions including being selected for Law Review, receiving “Book” awards for the highest grade in Criminal Law and Civil Procedure as well as being awarded the Law Center Scholarship for academic achievement. After graduation from Law School, Mr. Salas focused his practice on Federal and State Civil Litigation where he was responsible for all pretrial and trial activities.
