Bio:Jaclyn joined The Hopkins Law Firm as an associate attorney in 2013. Prior to attending law school, Jaclyn worked in the Fairfax County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court as a clerk for the Honorable Judge Charles Maxfield and the Honorable Judge Glenn Clayton, where she assisted with custody, visitation, abuse/neglect, domestic abuse and juvenile delinquency matters. Jaclyn also gained experience working as an administrative assistant in the Juvenile Intake division of the Fairfax County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court and as a deputy clerk and courtroom clerk in the traffic division of Fairfax County General District Court. During this time she volunteered with the Fairfax Mentors Project, mentoring 'at-risk' children in Fairfax County. She then became a legal assistant at the law firm of Blankingship& Keith and a paralegal at the law firm of Briglia Hundley Nuttall & Kay, where she assisted attorneys with trial preparation. While attending law school, Jaclyn worked as a law clerk in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and studied international law with the University of Miami School of Law, the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and the Université de Montpellier Faculté de Droit in Montpellier, France. Jaclyn enjoys traveling, cooking, and outdoor activities. She lives in Northern Virginia with her fiancé.
