Bio:Jarrett Ellzey was born in Dallas, Texas. The son of a U.S. Navy officer and airline pilot, Jarrett lived in several cities across the country as a child before his family settled in Houston in 1984.Jarrett graduated from Texas Tech University and returned home to Houston to attend South Texas College of Law. While in law school, he participated in mock trial and co-founded an association for Texas Tech alumni attending South Texas. Jarrett spent his summers clerking for litigation firms that represented plaintiffs in personal injury, consumer, and commercial cases.After graduating from law school, Jarrett became an associate at Cruse, Scott, Henderson & Allen, LLP, primarily focusing on defending doctors in medical malpractice cases and representing corporations in commercial disputes.
