Do not use this attorney or his law firm Bracken Margolin Besunder LLP located in Islandia NY. They claim to preform services that are unnecessary only to increase the bill. Unreasonable even when points are made regarding the bill. I terminated their services in 1 week as they held a $5000 retainer. Took them over a month to return any balance they chose to. Charged $1,800 for nonsense to research nonsense. Anything to increase the bill once he know I wasn't his client anymore. Besides his plan to resolve my case was horrible. He had no plan but to settle a frivolous case that I hired a different attorney with proof the exact case he has gotten dismissed while Mr. Powell was happy to over charge fees and hours. You can tell when an attorney doesn't have your best interest. He has his best interest to over bill. Plus the partner Linda Margolin will stand behind over billing too. They seemed to need the case enough to take time to refund the balance of my retainer. If you want good representation for fair costs and want a chance to win Jeffery D Powell and Bracken Margolin Besunder located in Islandia, NY is not a good choice.
