Bio:	After three years of law school in Europe, I returned to the United States to continue my legal education. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northern Virginia Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Administration of Justice in 2004. I then transferred to George Mason University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2006. Law school led me to Lansing, Michigan where I earned my Juris Doctorate degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. During my tenure at law school, I focused my studies in trial skills and advocacy and legal writing. I was a member of three national trial teams, traveling the U.S. to compete in trial advocacy competitions. Upon graduation I returned to Virginia where I was hired as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Frederick County, Virginia to prosecute cases of domestic violence and crimes against women. After gaining invaluable experience as a Prosecutor, I made the switch to private practice and became an Associate Attorney at Olmstead & Olmstead, P.C. Five years later, I decided to launch my own law practice, J.H. Foster Law, PLLC. My time as a solo practitioner was short-lived as I could not pass up the opportunity to join forces with my friend and esteemed colleague, Katherine McCollam. I am a member of the Virginia State Bar Association, the Prince William County Bar Association, and the Virginia Women Attorneys Association.
