Bio:Joy Ragan is a native of Georgia and resident of Florida since 2002. She graduated from Georgia Southern University, Cum Laude with a B.A. in History at the age of 20. She then attended law school at Mercer University where she was a distinguished leader and student, chosen to represent the school on the national stage at the National Civil Rights Moot Court Competition in Minneapolis, Minnesota and, later as a coach and mentor to her peers. She is a member in good standing with the Florida Bar and the State Bar of Georgia.Ms. Ragan began her legal career in Florida in 2002 where she was awarded the Felony Advocate of the Year in 2003 and the Franklin Graham Award for Outstanding Legal Service in 2004. She currently focuses her practice in the areas of Family Law and Criminal Defense.
