Bio:	Criminal and DUI Defense Criminal Appeals Over 30 years experience Karen Bird attended UCLA for her undergraduate work, receiving a cum laude Bachelor of Arts degree in 1981 and a Secondary Teaching Credential in 1982. She then attended Loyola Law School where she was a member of the Scott Moot Court and Traynor Trial Advocacy teams. She competed at the National level in Trial Advocacy. She worked for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office as a certified law student. Immediately after passing the bar exam in 1985, Karen began working at the Office of the Los Angeles County Public Defender.
